Recap of The Office “Money”

I have to give this episode two thumbs up.  It probably is my favorite so far this season.  Here are a few of my favorite moments:

1.  Jim, Jim, and more Jim - I totally love the development of this character and not just because I love the pairing of Jim and Pam but mostly because Jim is so lovable and caring.  I love the actor who plays him because he is able to act with his eyes.  So many of his best moments have no lines…you can just feel what he is saying (Booze Cruise when he tries to tell Pam that he loves her comes to mind).

2.  Love the fact that Jim could relate to Dwight and what Dwight is going through with Angela.

3.  Love, love, love the fact that Jim related his Pam heartbreak to Dwight and then right after came back to the office and gave Pam a kiss. So touching.

Enough gushing about Jim…some other favorites….

4.  Oscar trying to help out Michael by showing him a powerpoint of his finances.

5.  Jan continues to be a psycho but redeemed herself at the end by talking to Michael at the train.

6.  Michael…poor guy…he couldn’t catch a break last night and how stupid he is for thinking that if he shouts out “I declare bankruptcy” that means he has declared bankruptcy.

7.  Kelly and Darryl - ewww  this one gives me a sick feeling.

8.  Andy scoring and getting a date with Angela.  Love the stance of Andy in front of Pam’s desk.

9. Angela getting back her sleep cardigan.  Um, who wears a cardigan to bed?

10.  Michael being broke and having to take the bus to his second job.  Poor guy.

11. The Beets Motel which was Dwight’s B&B.  This was too funny from the outhouse to the table making to the manure throwing to the beet crushing to Dwight reading Harry Potter to Pam and Jim before bed.

12.  Seeing Pam and Jim be a couple always warms my heart.

As I said before I really enjoyed this episode and I look forward to rewatching it many more times.  Come back next week where I will review the episode for next Thursday.

Productivity is important, but how can I be productive if I have this one little thing in my brain that I cannot get out. And that one little thing is a soft pretzel. So I’m just gonna have my soft pretzel. When I get back to work I’m gonna be super productive. Look out for me! - Michael Scott
