The Job

Tonight on TBS has to be my second favorite Office episode of all time behind The Casino (where Jim and Pam share their first kiss).  It is so filled with beautiful moments that are filled with hope and suspense.  When Jim, Karen, and Michael all interview for the same job at corporate in New York City, we are left to wonder who will possibly get it. 

 It’s really a catch-22.  Jim is perfect for the job but if he takes it we are faced with more time away from Pam and I, for one, don’t want that.  So what and who do you root for?

In another side story, Jan is trying to win Michael back by flaunting her new boob job in front of him.  He takes the bait all the way.

And then there is Michael who thinks he is a sure thing for the corporate job so he decides to sell his condo on ebay and it sells for 80% of his purchase price in record time!  And you wonder how he successfully manages a business office?? I know I do.

There are lots of twists and turns in this episode which is the season 3 finale.  Who will get the job?  Will Jim and Pam ever get together?  What will happen to Jim and Karen?  Will Jan and Michael finally be together and have a successful relationship? 

So many questions.  Some of them might be answered tonight.

I’ve been recommending downsizing since I first got here, I even brought it up in my interview. I say, bring it on. - Dwight
