I have to say that I am so disappointed in this episode. The only part I kinda laughed at was when Michael was making fun of Pam’s glasses. Other than that nothing was working. Here are a few of my summations:
1. Ryan is a TOTAL JERK. What is he up to with Jim? With all of the goofing around in the office with Dwight (washing the car), Andy doing mad-libs with Angela, Michael being Michael, Stanley always doing puzzles in the office…..Ryan has to pick on Jim…what is going on?
2. Toby….can’t stand him anymore. He is turning out to be one el-creepo.
3. Why didn’t Jim tell Pam the truth about what was said by Ryan?
4. Loved in the opening when Kelly was talking about Will Smith being so hot LOL
5. Welcome Back Darryl.
6. Michael was just not funny tonight.
7. It was great to see Stanley be in the middle of something except that it wasn’t funny and incredibly dramatic and dark.
8. Dwight was a total loser tonight….total creep with the car deal.
9. This is the second straight episode where Michael is getting some sort of goo applied to his head. Cold opening was pretty funny.
I sure hope they do something with this whole Jim and Ryan thing before the season ends. Ryan needs a good knock off his horse. But David Wallace loves Jim so it will be interesting to see that develop.
What did you all think of the episode and how do you think this storyline with Jim and Ryan will play out?

I’m glad to hear someone else say they didn’t enjoy this episode. Comments on OfficeTally.com last night were all rave reviews and I didn’t get it. Yes, I think they’re setting things up for a big Jim vs. Ryan/Toby by the end of the season, but for now the story is getting such little airtime that it comes off as disjointed and creepy.
I totally disagree. This episode was truly funny! I loved it when Dwight did his own Mad Libs, when Michael asked Darryl if he’d been in a gang, when Ryan pounced on Jim (great for future plot development), when Pam was trying to find her glasses and Jim rushed her out of there, the painfully real confrontation between Stanley and Michael, when Stanley referred to having another wife because he doesn’t apologize unless he’s wrong, when Dwight put the Xterra on Ebay and and Angela slightly smiled, and when Michael told everyone to leave the room when Phyllis said “That’s the stupidest idea…” Okay. That’s enough
This Office episode isn’t legendary, but its true to its roots.
