My personal thoughts about tonight’s episode:
Likes:
- Cold open was fabulous. I love seeing everyone’s costumes. Hands down winner is Creed as the Joker. I’ve seen in it promos half a dozen times before the episode aired and it still freaked me out. Well done to Mr. Bratton and the hair, make-up, and wardrobe crew. Best line, though, goes to Pam: “And I can’t take off my hat, because then I’m Hitler.”
- Oh, Dwight and Andy. As soon as Dwight took off his coat to reveal the Cornell sweatshirt, I was dying laughing. Yay for another interview with these two, which was just as good as the one in “The Job” (third season finale).
- So glad it was Darryl who went on the road trip to Nashua with Michael and Holly. It’s just not right for Michael to have a long road trip without his warehouse buddy driving him to his destination. (Unless of course Michael is traveling with Dwight and Jim to Utica.) And to have the patience to teach Michael to sing the blues (kind of) shows just how great Darryl really is. Especially after the line of, “Are you crying? Is it allergies? Did Darryl touch you?”
Dislikes:
- Why must Amy Ryan leave? Please tell us that she’ll be back for the rest of the show and you’ve just been keeping it amazingly quiet from the public. She fits into this show and cast perfectly and, best of all, makes Michael human and bearable. Please don’t let her leave, especially if it means Michael goes back to Jan. Come back, Holly Flax!
But most importantly: What did you think?
