Overall, just a so-so episode for me, which I hate saying since it was written by Mindy Kaling. I normally love her epsidoes, especially the last time she took us to Utica to visit Karen in “Branch Wars.” I do appreciate the storyline of Jim and Dwight heading up the party planning committee together. I love seeing them in brothers-who-can’t-stand-each-other mode. But other than that, I thought it was just okay. Maybe I need to see the second part of this episode next week to improve my thoughts. Here’s to hoping we’ll see one Holly Flax and she’ll be just as fantastic as before.
